Docket Sheets
Docket sheets are normally kept in courts and later filed with the courthouse. Docket sheets are kept in a case file pertaining to that particular case. It will list all the papers that are filed and actions that are taken in a particular case. The judge might also note any action taken at the trial in the docket sheet.
Case files and docket sheets are considered a matter of public record and can be seen by anyone except in juvenile courts and certain confidential cases like adoptions. In these confidential cases, it may be possible to get copies of the docket sheets if you are involved in the case, such as the person who was adopted.
